Cheongsam Rental

We offer two collections:
Casual Collection — $100
Glamour Collection — $160
Each rental includes the cheongsam, a hanger and a garment cover.

The rental fee covers use on the day of collection, with the cheongsam due back by midnight on the same day.
If you wish to keep the cheongsam for an additional day, an extra day's rental fee will apply:
$80 for the Casual Collection or $140 for the Glamour Collection.
The same daily rate applies for each additional day.

Yes. A 20% booking deposit is required to secure your chosen cheongsam.
The booking deposit is refundable if you cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled pickup or delivery. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance are not eligible for a refund of the booking deposit.
The remaining rental balance is payable upon pickup or delivery. A refundable security deposit is also required:
Casual Collection: $200
Glamour Collection: $500
The security deposit will be refunded once the cheongsam and all accompanying items have been returned in good condition.

Yes. A fitting session with Ray can be arranged to assess the fit and determine whether any adjustments are needed. You are under no obligation to proceed with the rental after the fitting.
Any alterations must be carried out exclusively by Ray.

Each cheongsam is handmade and should be handled with care. Please do not wash or clean the garment yourself, as all cleaning will be taken care of by us.
Please take care to avoid stains from makeup, perfume, deodorant and body oils.

Minor wear, such as loose stitching, will not incur a charge. Additional cleaning or repair charges may apply where necessary.
In the event of permanent stains, significant damage or loss of the garment, replacement charges apply:
Casual Collection: $800
Glamour Collection: $1,400
Cheongsam Custom Order

We offer two styles, depending on your preferred design and level of detail:
Casual Style — $700 in labour
Glamour Style — $1,000 in labour
Fabric and material costs are additional and will be quoted according to your requirements. Optional design details, such as sleeves, binding and traditional pankou (Chinese knotted buttons), are available at additional cost.

Each cheongsam is individually made to order. The estimated turnaround time is:
Casual Style: approximately 8 weeks
Glamour Style: approximately 12 weeks
These timelines are estimates and may vary depending on material availability, design complexity and the current production schedule.

The process involves three main stages:
Initial consultation: Discuss your preferred design, select fabrics and take measurements.
Muslin fitting: Approximately two weeks later, try on a mock-up so we can refine the fit and silhouette before proceeding with the final garment.
Final completion: Your cheongsam is carefully crafted and prepared for collection or delivery.

A 50% deposit is required after the initial consultation to confirm your order and secure your place in the production schedule. The remaining 50% balance is payable upon collection or delivery of your completed cheongsam.

Absolutely. During your initial consultation, we will discuss your preferred style, fabric and design details to create a cheongsam that reflects your personal taste and vision.
Optional details include binding, sleeves and pankou. Additional costs apply depending on your chosen design.
